For the second year in a row, I’ve made a calendar centered on mountains, this time focused on major peaks from the southern Canadian Rockies. The images span a number of national and provincial parks, including Banff, Mount Assiniboine, Yoho, and Kananaskis. Taken on my trip to these parks in the autumn, they capture the peaks in their best seasonal light, with long shadows and crisp clarity. Each mountain has its own shape, mood, and surrounding landscape, and the calendar highlights that sense of distinct presence and scale.
